IN MOST parts of Australia the gardening year can be divided up into the petunia season and the pansy season. The petunia season is finishing now so it's pansy time. Pansy seedlings can be planted now for flowers in winter and spring. In cooler areasthe plants may last into early summer as plantings can be continued in spring. Planted as seedlings, pansies will flower in six to 10 weeks from planting.
