摘要

The time optimization of the combinational adder of the decimal digits encoded in the Johnson - Mobius code is performed. A number of structural variants of the decimal adder are proposed and analyzed. The implementation of the optimal variant of the adder using quantum-dot cellular automata is described. A successful computer simulation of the adder is performed. The estimations of the hardware costs and the signal propagation delay are given in comparison with the original version of the adder developed earlier by the author.
