Cumulant Determination of the Multipleness of Signals with Quadrature Amplitude Modulation

摘要

A new method of automatic determination of the multiplicity of signals with quadrature amplitude modulation based on calculation of high-order statistics is developed in the present study, It is shown that through the use of second- and fourth-order cumulants the number of positions of such a signal may be determined in the case of low signal-to-noise ratio.
