摘要

A mathematical model of an individual cell in wireless communication networks in which private channels are allocated for servicing handover calls is considered. The other channels are used jointly by new and handover calls. An efficient algorithm for calculating the loss probability of different types of calls is developed. The problem of finding the number of private channels for which constraints on the loss probability of different types of calls and on the mean number of busy channels are satisfied, is solved.
