High-resolution Seafloor Survey and Applications was published jointly by Science Press Beijing and Springer in 2020. With 12 chapters, the coauthors used 610 pages to cover a variety of seafloor mapping topics from technology, to products and applications. The book introduced a comprehensive set of tools and methods which can be used for exploring the vast extend of seafloor environment that accounts for more than 71% of Earth's surface and remains less learnt because of its challenging and, in many cases, extreme conditions. It is one of the few books that have been published recently to comprehensively address the principle and advanced methodology in ocean mapping.
