Morality and ethics at war: bridging the gaps between the soldier and the state

Of all the books that assume the need for a military, this might be one of the best I have encountered. It is a book with which I ultimately disagree but which I think everyone in the peace movement should read. To explain why I make this seemingly contradictory recommendation, it is important to realize that this is two books woven together.
