摘要

The present study was done on the performance of seed-cum pressurized aqueous fertilizer drill with its comparison to zero till drill and conventional seed drill for wheat crop under vertisols. Field tests were conducted in the experimental farm of College of Agricultural Engineering. The field experiments were laid out following a randomized block design. Based on functional test evaluation, actual field capacity and field efficiency of the machine were 0.35 ha/h and 65.5% respectively. The field experiments reveled that aqueous fertilizer application advanced germination by at least two days. Rate of aqueous fertilizer gave enhanced growth performance parameters in addition to better germination, no of ear heads, plant height, dry root weight, grain yield and straw yield were 45%, 22.4%, 23% 37.5%, 25.3% and 19.6% respectively higher than to those plots with no aqueous fertilizer application. As per the working principle of the seed cum pressurized aqua fertilizer drill may be the better solutionfor the effect of agro-climatic changes in agricultural situations. This may take care of the situation such as dry spell maintained or improve the soil health as well as the environment.
