NET Power advances commercialization of zero-emissions gas-fired power generation

Rice Acquisition Corporation, a company focused on supply-sidedecarbonization solutions, and NET Power, said Dec. 14 theysigned an agreement to accelerate deployment of NET Power’szero-emissions, natural gas-fired power generation technology.After the business combination with Rice, the company will benamed NET Power Inc., with the transaction expected to close inthe second quarter of 2023, and the combined company listed onthe New York Stock Exchange under the ticker symbol “NPWR,”according to a news release.
