This is the second book in the series by Lindsey Campbell. She has taken care to include enough information to get anyone started on their weaving adventure, yet there is still plenty of new material to make the book worthwhile for weavers wanting to extend their skills. From preparing a loom, through lots of different techniques for tapestry weaving, to finished tapestries and projects using what has been learnt, this book covers a lot of ground. There is enough to enable the reader to gain a good taste of areas ripe for further research and exploration. Packed with tips and techniques, this modern-looking book is well photographed and illustrated. It was pleasing to see that there was even a section on making a loom. The projects towards the end range from a small zipper pouch to a full sized rug. There are even instructions on weaving for clothing, shaping on the loom to match dressmaking patterns.
