The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications is pleased to announce that it has been successful in its application to the Department for Education to run the Mathematics Teacher Training Scholarships for a further three years. Having run the Maths Scholarships since its inception in 2012, the IMA is proud to continue supporting teachers in their role, which will inspire secondary school students to take an interest in mathematics. Along with access to a wide range of CPD opportunities, complimentary membership of mathematical societies and access to resources, a Maths Scholarship provides a ￡29000 tax-free bursary to those commencing their initial teacher training year in 2023/24.
