Since our last edition, sadly we've seen the escalation of the latest waves of Covid ravaging both Asia and South America. Headlines began to write themselves around mid-April, as India consistently registered up to and over 200,000 confirmed cases of Covid-19 per day. Those numbers rapidly doubled, and some believe the true numbers may have been even higher. In tandem with such caseloads, daily fatality figures also soared and a cataclysm in medical oxygen was rapidly building. Read more about that in our hot topic from page 26.
