Germany's Vulkan Group is an owner-managed group of companies based in Heme, with their Australian branch operating out of New South Wales and serving the Asia-Pacific region. Founded in 1889, the name Vulkan has stood for quality, technological leadership and a customer focus in the coupling and drive technology industries. The company's couplings division, Vulkan Couplings, has the highest total turnover in the Vulkan Group. Previously, Vulkan Couplings concentrated on diesel-engine applications in marine and generator systems.
