The School of Aquaculture at the University of Tasmania is dedicated to teaching all aspects of aquaculture and is widely recognized nationally and internationally as a centre for teaching and research excellence. As a member of the Tasmanian Aquaculture and Fisheries Institute, the current AquaFin Cooperative Research Centre (CRC) and new Australian Seafood CRC, the school possesses research expertise in a wide range of fields. Much research is undertaken with industry and it is the nexus between research, industry and teaching that is a significant feature of our courses.
