Martin Engineering redesigned its Martin V-Plow HD in an effort to make its tail protection device safer, lighter and more compact. Dave Mueller, conveyor products manager at Martin Engineering, says that with the previous design, getting the unit to the installation point could cause potential safety issues, as workers had to carry the box by hand up several flights of stairs, through corridors or to areas with limited accessibility.
