Alexander Gerding to head BASF India

Mumbai-The board of directors of BASF India has approved the appointment of Alexander Gerding as managing director of BASF India,effective 1 January 2023.Gerding will lead the company for a tenure of five years and will be based in Mumbai.He succeeds the present managing director of BASF India Limited,Narayan Krish-namohan,who has decided to leave the company.As head of BASF Group's companies in the country,and as managing director of BASF India,he will focus on expanding the business and supporting BASF's existing customers and partners in the country.
