Fishing administrators in Washington are in overdrive. This time the Americans are up in arms about the cross violations of the northern bluefin resource by the Europeans. Reports coming from the Mediterranean are conflicting and not encouraging at all. Every country has a different story about its parameters of sea-space. When studying various fisheries around the world, you often find acute overfishing or straight-out rorting, and in many instances mismanagement, hidden behind a facade of righteousness.
