Broome booms into the shipbuilding industry with 'Mary v'

Rod Wellington's Ocean Pearl Boat Builders in Broome has recently delivered a 20-metre commercial dive catamaran for Oceanic Offshore of Karratha, Western Australia - 'Mary V. This custom-built vessel will be involved in a variety of offshore projectssupporting a booming oil and gas sector on the west coast. The Nuttal family, a very experienced offshore dive team, began planning a vessel which first started as a basic aft console barge of about 12 metres. As time went on, interest grew in the vessel and more opportunity knocked on the door of Oceanic Offshore. Therefore, the vessel grew and grew, eventually to 20 metres.
