A step in the right direction

Our industry has recently received some good news: Australian Fisheries Management Authority, Managing Director Mr. Richard McLoughlin has resigned and has left the Authority. Good news indeed, and long overdue. Goes to show what can be done when people complain often enough. It is, however, always easy to criticise, but we should not be shy to step forward with praise when deserved. The Fisheries Research and Development Corporation (FRDC) seems to be heading in the right direction; development being the optimal description in this case.
