'Electra': Private research vessel for the Bahamas

Following the recent delivery and entry into service of the 50 metre luxury tourism vessel, 'True North', Australian builder Austal continues the theme with the successful delivery to a private owner of 'Electra' for operation in the Bahamas. With the initial design brief heavily based on carrying and deploying a nine metre, twin engine RIB, 'Electra' is customised as a base for serious diving, and comes complete with all the necessary equipment to support underwater research and film making.
