The Glaston Group has received four orders for new CHAMP EVO automotive pre-processing lines from a customer in China.The orders,totaling nearly €3 million,are booked in Glaston's Q3/2022 and Q4/2022 order books.Delivery of the equipment is scheduled for H1/2023.Glaston announced in June that it will produce automotive pre-processing equipment for standard products at its factory in Tianjin,China.The plan aligns with Glaston's strategic objective of growing its business in China and improving operational efficiency.It is intended to serve customers in the world's largest automotive market with locally produced machines.Products sold include Glaston Automotive Technology's standard Champ Evo pre-processing lines which can be used to cut,grind,and in some cases drill automotive glass,such as windshields,sidelights,backlights,and increasingly sunroofs.
