The Royal Pharmaceutical Society (RPS) in Wales has welcomed news that the Welsh government plans to invest ￡100m to transform health and social care services as part of the nation’s recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. The recovery plan, published by the Welsh government on 22 March 2021 (https://gov.wales/written-statement-health-and-social-care-wales-covid-19-looking-forward) , said that, during the pandemic, pharmacies had provided support “for a range of services, without appointments, particularly when GP services were seen to be under greater pressure” .
