An Improved Constant Power Generation Algorithm for Photovoltaic Systems

High penetration of photovoltaic power generation will bring some new challenges to the grid, such as overvoltage and overload. To address these problems, a constant power generation (CPG) algorithm is proposed. However, the conventional CPG algorithm cannot balance tracking speed and accuracy. Therefore, an improved CPG algorithm with rapid tracking speed and high accuracy is proposed in this paper. Finally, the superiority of the algorithm is verified in simulation and experiments.
