NWE refining margins continue to fall while Med. profits rebound

Reuters data indicated margins at Rotterdam in the Netherlands for cracking Brent shrank by $1.47/bbl over the week ending Feb. 28 to an average of $1.20/bbl, while the average margin for the month of Feb. declined by $1.71/bbl to $4.02/bbl. For both cracking and hydrosldmming at Rotterdam, margins on Brent tightened for three weeks in a row, as of Feb. 28. Weekly average hydroskrmming margins on Brent at Rotterdam fell by $1.63/bbl from the previous week to 91￠/bbl after slipping into negative territory on Wednesday and remaining there for the rest of the week. The for the full month of Feb., the average hydrosldmming margin contracted by $2.64/bbl to $4.00/bbl.
