摘要

An analytical solution to the problem of MHD forced convective flow of an incompressible, electrically conducting, viscous with constant viscosity, past a semi-infinite horizontal porous plate taking into account of the Dufour effect is presented. A magnetic field of uniform strength is applied normal to the plate and the flow is subjected to a normal suction velocity directed away from the fluid region. The governing equations are solved analytically. The effect of the relevant physical parameters on velocity, temperature, concentration profiles and Nusselt number are displayed and discussed through graphs. The effects on Skin friction and Sherwood number are presented in tabular form.
