BIG PLANS FOR CCAA WITH NEW SUSTAINABILITY MANAGER ON BOARD

With the concrete and cement industry on the road to net zero carbon emissions within 30 years,Cement,Concrete & Aggregates Australia(CCAA)has created a new role for a National Sustainability Manager.This comes in the wake of CCAAs new brand direction of'Concrete,Futureproof your build'in October 2021,followed closely by the landmark Climate Ambition Statement for 2050,and the release of the independent report,Decarbonisation Pathways for the Australian Cement and Concrete Sector.Appointed to the role of National Sustainability Manager is Joel Clayton(pictured),whose task it will be to deliver CCAAs Sustainability Plan.He is looking forward to playing a part in helping the industry realise its sustainability ambitions.
