摘要

The potential of a multi-spectral airborne video system for remotely assessing water qualify has been evaluated in a trial conducted along the Murray River. The raw digital information provided in the four spectral bands of the airborne video systemhas explained most of the variance in measured water qualify parameters of turbidity, total suspended solids and apparent colour respectively. The results demonstrate the potential ability of airborne video for water quality assessment and have encouragedfurther development of our system.
