New South Wales-based boat builder Harwood Marine has recent I delivered the 'Bambra' to Queensland s MDT Maritime. Constructed of both steel and aluminium, 'Bambra' is technically a self-propelled work barge. Harwood, however, prefers to simply labelher a "multipurpose workboat". The vessel measures 16.5 metres in length overall, with a beam of 8.1 metres and a tonnage of 80DWT. A pair of Volvo TAMD 122As powers the vessel, each rated for 280kW and pushing the vessel to a maximum speed of ten knots and a cruising speed of eight knots.
