petrobras completes renewable jet fuel tests

Brazil's state-controlled Petrobras has completed its frst round of production tests for sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) as the company eyes a more relevant role in advanced biofuels production. Chief executive Jose Mauro Coelho said on 18 May that the company plans to convert some of its refnery capacity to produce advanced biofuels. This may cut its production of petroleum coke.
