摘要

In this research work, magnetic nanoparticles (NPs) of Fe3O4@nSiO(2)@mSiO(2)/DBU were designed as a novel effective heterogeneous catalyst for the production of polyhydroacridines and polyhydroquinolines. For characterizing the NPs, the Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), thermogravimetric analysis (TGA), X-ray diffraction (XRD), and N(2)adsorption-desorption measurement (BET isotherm) techniques were used. Some advantages of this magnetic nanoparticle include: use of commercially available materials to make catalysts, appropriate and simple operation, excellent yields, appropriate catalytic activity, simple work-up, and recycle and reuse the catalyst up to seven times without considerable change in its catalytic activity.
