A disease in a commercial broiler farm was diagnosed as Chronic Respiratory Disease caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum (MG) based on symptoms of dullness, depression, reduced weight and ocular and nasal discharges. Post mortem lesions viz. cheesy exudates in air sacs, pericarditis, perihepatitis and haemorrhagic spleen also lead to confirmation of the MG infection.
