摘要

As the export season kicks-off, Mildura Fruit Companies' (MFC) Grower Services Team, Bill Robinson, Tony Filippi and Justin Lane with international citrus consultant, John Chavarria emphasise the significant role Maximum Residue Limits (MRLs) play inAustralia gaining access for first-class fruit into vital markets.RLs are certainly becoming more of a concern for Australia's citrus industry. It can be difficult to manage as most packing sheds source fruit from a variety of differentgrowers who have varied pest and disease problems as well as varied growing practices. Some agrichemicals (in particular traditional products) also are moving targets with regards to MRLs as they are constantly being reviewed.
