Sustainability of potable water supplies in developing countries - Baguio case study

摘要

Increasing stress is being placed on water supplies in terms of both quantity and quality.By 2025 it is predicted that one in every three people will live in countries short of water.Many countries have commissioned new water supplies.Factors affecting the sustainability of potable water supplies are considered.Sustainability indicators are developed for community based water supply projects in developing countries,using the Pressure-State-Response framework.These are applied to the Baguio Water Supply project in the Philippines.
