Innovation solves grease gun injury threat

The threat of high pressure grease injections from jammed grease guns has been solved by a remote control pressure relieving device, according to its Queensland-based designer. GREASE INJECTION INJURIES, where high pressure grease penetrates the skin, often resulting in limb amputation, can occur when a grease gun jams into a grease nipple, and has to be removed by force. This forceful removal can result in the separation of the grease nipple from the machine, and the ensuing release of pressure can cause serious injury.
