The Thames Valley & Great Western Omnibus Trust has done more than most to celebrate the heritage of Victoria Coach Station (VCS), often beginning the annual Royal Blue Run at the London landmark and staging special events there, culminating this 90th anniversary year with a coach display on September 24. This well illustrated book explains why it was built, by whom and how it has expanded, developed and survived as coach travel has changed and the value of central London real estate has entered the stratosphere.
