Remote NT township unites for landcare success

A Bushcare/Greening Australia project in the centre of the remote Northern Territory township of Borroloola has brought together two local community councils, the townspeople, and a government department. Borroloola, with a population of about 600, is 680 kilometres south east of Katherine, itself a town of only 8000 people located on the Stuart Highway 315 km south of Darwin Rocky Creek runs through the centre of Borroloola, under the bridge on the main road through the township, with unused land on either side of the creek's banks.
