摘要

A face-centered cubic (FCC) Al0.3CoCrFeNiCu high entropy alloy (HEA) is reinforced by combining recrystallized fine grains and discrete L1(2) ordered nano-precipitates. Mechanical processing via cold rolling (90% reduction) and subsequent annealing (1000 degrees C / 5 min + 600 degrees C / 10 h) has been applied to achieve the strength-ductility synergy of Al0.3CoCrFeNiCu HEA. This precipitation-hardened HEA with refined grains exhibits high yield and ultimate tensile strength of 880 MPa and 970 MPa at room temperature, while a high tensile elongation of 29% is maintained at the same time, opening a strategy for the development of HEAs with strength-ductility combination in engineering applications.
