We truly appreciate the deep interest and scientific disagreement raised by Garry et al. on our article. We would like to clarify the issues raised point-by-point. Before we move on to elaborate discussion, we reiterate the fact that our findings are based on maximally preexcited ECCs in electrophysiology (EP) lab.
