Federal Reserve G17 Industrial Production data for April refects a full month of shutdowns and the data shows it. The decrease is the largest in the 101 year history of the indices. Vehicle production – mostly shutdown throughout April and the annualized rate of production, as shown in the sidebar, fell from 11.0 million vehicles to just 70,000 in April.
