MEXICO-headquartered Vista Energy expects oil and natural gas output to increase by nearly two thirds by 2026, as the Latin America-focused operator also takes steps to further advance the decarbonisation of its operations in the prolific Neuquen basin in Argentina. The company - headed by chief executive Miguel Galuccio and listed in Mexico and on the New York Stock Exchange - forecasts production will reach 80,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day in 2026. The -figure represents an increase of 64.7% when compared to production of 48,560 boepd achieved in 2022, which was already up 25% versus the previous year.
