Ironbark addresses Citronen social impact

Ironbark Zinc Ltd has moved a step closer to completing a feasibility study on its Citronen Project in Greenland by completing a social im pact assessment (SIA) for the potentially lucra-tive zinc-lead mine. The report, prepared by Ironbark with the help of European consulting and engineer ing company Grontmij, was submitted to theGreenland Government for comment early last month and seeks to "identify the potential socio-economic impacts of the proposed min-ing activity and recommend initiatives, realise sustainable development opportunities as well as to mitigate any negative impacts" of the operation, according to the company.
