Iran can double its oil exports if there is demand for those extra barrels because Tehran would like to reclaim its market share, a top oil official said May 14, amid a stalemate in talks to revive a nuclear deal that could unleash Iranian crude production. “Our utmost effort is to take back our share in the oil market and bring new customers for our oil," Mohsen Khojastehmehr, managing director of state-owned National Iranian Oil Co., told reporters on May 14 in Tehran.
