Kitumba comes of age

After nearly a decade working on the pro-ject, Blackthorn Resources Ltd appears to be finally ready to lift the lid on how it will develop its Kitumba copper project in the Mumbwa region of Zambia. Blackthorn entered Kitumba in 2004 and after seeing BHP Billiton Ltd farm out, claw back and then withdraw again from the project, the company is set to release an optimisation study next month which will reveal its strategy for a sole-operator development at Kitumba.
