Waratah first to resource in Gabon

Waratah Resources Ltd has refocused its attention on its iron ore project in Gabon, where it has just announced a small maiden resource, the first iron ore resource in the West African nation. The company announced the modest 43mt @ 33% iron resource at the Mekambo-Est deposit in early July. The resource is open at depth and along strike, and the company has only drilled 7% of the strike length of the prospect. As a result, Waratah has set a potential target of 180mt of itabirite resources within a 10km radius of the existing resource.
