We have all heard the numbers many times. Over the next decade, the Australian resources sector will be in need of an additional 75,000 workers as major oil and gas developments in Western Australia, gas and coal developments in Queensland, and iron ore expansion projects in WA worth more than 200 billion dollars are undertaken. The skills shortage creates a bigger headache for resource co'mpany executives than any other issue.
