Bienvenido! Bienvenu! Receber! Wilkommen! And welcome,to the 200th issue of gasworld magazine! It's been a long time since I began an editorial in such fashion,but it seemed appropriate to roll back the years somewhat for this mega milestone edition-and to reflect some of the many regions in which you,our fantastic audience,have been reading from.It is of course thanks to you that we're celebrating this second century of magazines.I distinctly remember a much more youthful version of myself working on our 100th issue of gasworld magazine,and indeed being interviewed alongside our founder and Publisher John Raquet,and thinking'wow,what an achievement'.I couldn't have imagined what the next 100 issues-the next decade-might have in store for us all.We might say,who could? But here we are and inside this month we take a moment to look back on those 200 issues and the big stories of the industry that they've chronicled.I hope you enjoy reminiscing as much as we have,and perhaps remembering some of those key forks in the road for the business as we know it today.When we look at where the industry might be tomorrow,it feels very much as though the industrial and specialty gas ecosystem is being re-imagined and reinvigorated before our eyes,by a number of interwoven trends.We look forward to kicking on in the New Year and reflecting all of that change ahead across our next century of magazines!
