Russian refnery runs could fall by over 10pc this year, deputy prime minister Alexander Novak said on 17 June. Speaking on the sidelines of the St Petersburg International Economic Forum, Novak forecast that Russia’s refneries will process 250mn-260mn t (5mn-5.2mn b/d) of crude and conden- sate in 2022, compared with 280.7mn t last year and 270mn t in 2020 during the height of the Covid pandemic.
