Book offers insight on Australia's place in global wine industry: Wine landscape changed forever

A new compendium exploring the latest information on global wine markets will force our own producers to re-evaluate their situation, according to co-author Kym Anderson. Anderson, executive director of Wine Economics at The University of Adelaide, believes the latest wave of globalisation has changed the landscape of wine production and consumption in Australia, and worldwide, forever. He and School of Economics doctoral student Signe Nelgen have produced the latest edition of a statistical compendium, which looks at Australia's wine industry in context with other New and Old World wine markets.
