Aquila Resources Ltd has joined the growing circle of miners announcing spending cuts, after confirming it was undertaking an expenditure optimisation process to conserve funds.The news comes as blue chip miners, Rio Tinto Ltd and BHP Billiton Ltd moved to cut jobs across various divisions of their businesses and review projects, as falling commodity prices and soaring costs start to take hold.
