Texas trucking firm opens Ringtread plant

King Country Trailer and Repair, an Amarillo, Texas-based trucking services enterprise, ventured into retreading last year, opening a Marangoni Ringtread-process plant in western Texas under the name King Country Retread to service cus-tomers throughout Tex-as, Oklahoma, and New ing Country Trailer set up a "state-of-the-art" retread plant at an existing facility in Friona — a town of about 4,000 about 70 miles southwest of Amarillo and 20 miles east of the New Mexico state line — with a rated capacity of over 30,000 retreads a year.
