Smt Geeta Rani is working as Transport Inspector in Operating Department of Kota Division. Smt. Geeta Rani was appointed as the first woman Station Master in West Central Railway on 27th February, 1991. Smt. Geeta Rani is the first woman employee to be selected and completed training on the post of Transport Inspector in Indian Railways. The following excellent works have been executed by her. She avoided an accident on 21th October, 1992. As a token of appreciation for her vigilant and prompt security measures, Appreciation letter was awarded by the Senior Divisional Safety Officer/Kota. Work of station and level crossing gates, footplates, brake vans, joint trolley inspections etc. were carried out day and night by her.
